Megyn Kelly Swears in Mike Huckabee Introduction, Former Governor Laughs (VIDEO)
Megyn Kelly introduced Mike Huckabee with a swear word accidentally Monday evening during a segment of her show "The Kelly File." The Fox News anchor mixed up the beginnings "Fox news" and "Huckabee" and ended up with something crude and hilarious.
"Joining me now, former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, who's the host of F---a — of Huckabee, right here on Fox news channel; he's also a former Republican Presidential candidate," she said. "Governor good to see you …"
When Kelly made the blunder and dropped the f-bomb Huckabee just smiled, acknowledging the foul-up. However, the cable news anchor didn't mention what happened during their four-minute segment.
Meanwhile, many of Kelly's fans and supporters online found the innocent mistake to be very funny.
"Megyn Kelly with that unfortunate slip of the tongue LOL," one person wrote on Twitter.
"Now you know what they call him behind his back hahahaha," another person joked.
Kelly eventually acknowledged her mistake later in the show, saying it was "getting a lot of attention on Twitter." She was even able to poke fun at herself in a segment that discussed White House adviser Valerie Jarrett.
"They say [Jarrett] is not above keeping a blank list — you know, begins with 's' — I've already sworn once on the program so I don't even know why I'm even bothering and it was way worse than that one but anyway …" she continued.
Kelly joined Fox News in 2004 after working as an attorney. She was co-anchor for Fox News' "America's Election Headquarters" in the 2012 political season.
