Meizu M3 Note Launch Date Announced, Spec Rumors Include 5.5-Inch Display, Helio P10 Processor, 2 GB RAM
Chinese consumer electronics company Meizu has chosen a date already to launch its newest device, the M3 Note. The date has been confirmed by the company itself through a teaser posted on its official account Chinese social networking site Weibo. As stated in a report by International Business Times, Meizu will introduce to the public the device at the Beijing National Convention Center on April 6. Apparently, this is the same date that Huawei is releasing its new flagship device, the P9 model.
The company has kept the details of the M3 Note under wraps but just like most upcoming devices, few leaks have surfaced online, revealing the possible specs and features of the handset. GSM Arena reported that the phone is said to feature a 5.5-inch 1080p touchscreen display with Full HD resolution (1080 x 1920 pixels). Ubergizmo also marked that it will be equipped under the hood with the MediTek Helio P10 chipset with 2GHz octa-core Cortex-A53 CPU and the Mali-T860MP2 GPU.
Moreover, it's said to have 2 GB of RAM and will have two internal memory options—one with 16 GB and the other one with 32 GB. Both variants are expected to have microSD card for expandable storage. It will then be powered with a 3,200 mAh battery. The Mobile Indian reported that Huang Zhang, Meizu's chief executive officer, had previously confirmed that the M3 Note will have a slim body and a big battery. A fingerprint sensor is also to be incorporated.

For its operating system, the device is speculated to be pre-installed with the Android 5.1 Lollipop with the Flyme OS 5 on top. The rumored price of the device is CNY 799 ($122, €109) for the 16 GB variant and CNY 999 ($153, €137) for the 32 GB variant. As of now, none of the details are confirmed yet so it's best to take reports with a pinch of salt.
