Against the Bulls, James had a good night with 25 points and 10 rebounds as he shot 12-of-22 from the field, but he also was denied a chance to tie the game in the dying seconds and his first attempt was blocked and his second was stolen from him as the Bulls held on to win.
Kevin Love also played his first competitive match since injuring himself in last year's playoffs and the forward scored 18 points and got eight rebounds in the loss.
Mo Williams filled in perfectly for the injured Kyrie Irving as the veteran guard had 19 points in 37 minutes on the floor.
Unfortunately, they did not get the win and will try to avoid going down 0-2 when they face the talented Grizzlies.
This will be the first match for the Grizzlies this year and they are still one of the better teams in the Western Conference, if not the entire league.
The team is led by big men Marc Gasol and Zach Randolph so expect big minutes and production from the two veterans.
Mike Conley, Jeff Green and Tony Allen are also going to play important minutes in the game as they hope to start the season with a win over the Eastern Conference champions.
It should be a tough contest and expect the stars of the teams to shine in this duel.
