Mexico vs Japan Live Stream Free Football: Watch Online Confederations Cup 2013 Soccer

Mexico vs Japan takes place in the Confederations Cup 2013 tournament on Saturday afternoon, with both teams playing for pride having already been knocked out of the competition. However, both sides have proven they are exciting teams to watch through their first games, and this should be a fun contest to witness. The game is scheduled to kick off at 3 p.m. ET and can be watched online through free live stream (details below).

Mexico have fought hard in both of their opening two games but succumbed to two brilliant teams in Brazil and Italy. They pushed and troubled both of those sides but ultimately came up short to the technical skills of both, and now having lost both games they are simply playing for pride and trying to avoid finishing bottom of the their group.

Meanwhile, Japan have surprised some with their fight. They were expected by some to be the whipping boys of the group and be destroyed by all three other teams. However, they can leave the tournament with their heads held high, and although they have lost both their games so far they have pushed both Brazil and Italy more than most expected.

Especially against Italy in their last game they almost claimed an amazing win but after a dramatic back and forth game they ended up on the wrong side of the 4-3 result.

They will be extremely pleased with their performances so far, but will be hoping that can finish the tournament on a high and take down Mexico in their final game and end up in third place in the group.

In team news, Japan will be without suspended captain Makoto Hasebe after he picked up his second tournament booking against Italy in Recife.

Meanwhile, Mexico head coach Jose de la Torre is rumored to want to draft in some of the younger players in his squad and blood some of the players who helped the country win the 2012 Olympic gold soccer medal. However, if he does they will have stiff competition in a very capable Japan side.
