Eastern Conference teams collide at the American Airlines Arena as the Miami Heat welcome the Toronto Raptors in the regular season of the National Basketball Association.

This is a highly anticipated match as both teams currently lead their respective divisions in the East, with the Heat holding a 15-9 record to take control of the Southeast Division as they try and hold off the Charlotte Hornets and Orlando Magic.

On the other hand, the Raptors are the current kings of the Atlantic Division with a 16-11 record as they battle against the Boston Celtics and New York Knicks for supremacy in the group.
This is also the second of their four scheduled meetings in the regular season and expect the Raptors to try and get this win after already losing to the Heat once this season.
As for the Heat, they are trying to replicate their earlier performance when the two squads met as they try to win their second straight over the Raptors.
When the two teams met in early November, it was a close match early on as the Raptors held a three point lead at half time thanks to good playmaking and distribution of the ball.
Miami played well but were only behind the Raptors half a step as the game had its first intermission.
However, things changed drastically in the second half as the Heat turned on their jets and scored 30 points in the third while holding the Raptors to only 16 points to take a double-digit lead heading into the final quarter.
They continued to press in the fourth quarter as they held the Raptors to only 13 points in the final frame to eventually win 96-76.
In the win, Hassan Whiteside led the Heat with 20 points and 11 rebounds, while Kyle Lowry of the Raptors had 15 points, six rebounds and eight assists in the loss.
