Michael Jackson's Siblings 'Ambush' Prince, Paris, and Blanket in Fight Over His $1 Billion Estate

The battle over Michael Jackson's $1 billion estate continues and attorneys for the late singer's mother now fear for the safety of his three children.

On Monday police were called to the Jackson family's Calabasas, Calif. home following an alleged ambush attempt made by Jackson's siblings Randy, Jermaine and Janet, who have been accused of trying to remove Katherine Jackson's "beloved grandchildren" from the home.

"Yesterday afternoon certain Jackson family members ambushed Katherine Jackson's home after their vehicle tore through security gates on the tails of the SUV containing Michael Jackson's children," attorney's for Katherine said in a statement to TMZ.com.

"After exiting their vehicles, Jackson family members ran up to Michael's children as they yelled and began to aggressively grab at the cell phones in their hands. Out of concern for the well being of Prince, Paris, and Blanket Jackson, the children were forced to temporarily leave their home and taken to a safe location. An altercation ensued shortly thereafter and law enforcement arrived at the scene," the publication continued.

Katherine, who was recently reported as missing by her granddaughter Paris and her nephew T.J. Jackson, is said to be safe and currently visiting family in Arizona. Her grandchildren have reportedly been prohibited from speaking with her ever since she left nine days ago.

"8 days and counting...i wanna talk directly to my grandmother!!," a frustrated Paris tweeted after Monday's incident.

It is still unclear why Jackson's children have been banned from speaking with their grandmother but newly released video surveillance taken from the Jackson family home in conjunction with attorney's statements suggest that his siblings are to blame. They have reportedly been trying to remove Jackson's children from Katherine's care for three years.

"Following the incident, it was learned that one of the family members who was part of the ambush admitted that a plan has been in place for the last three years to remove Katherine Jackson from her home and her beloved grandchildren," the statement continued.

"Prince, Paris, and Blanket Jackson have not heard from their grandmother since she left their home nine days ago to attend a series of her sons' concerts on their Unity Tour. She never made the shows. Despite efforts to interview Katherine Jackson at her current location in Arizona yesterday, Los Angeles County Sheriffs confirmed that they were denied access to Mrs. Jackson by security for one of her children," it added.

According to an estate attorney, Jackson left some of his siblings out of his will, which many suspect is the cause for the recent family feud. Katherine and his children are allegedly listed as benefactors of the estate, which could be the reason that family members are trying to separate her from her grandchildren.

Jermaine Jackson recently took to Twitter where he attempted to explain the incident through a series of tweets.

"This is a serious matter that has been weighed carefully, including taking into account Michael's thoughts and feelings when he was alive," he tweeted.

Jermaine had previously called the situation "a conspiracy to deflect attention away from the letter we wrote asking for the resignation of executors [of michael's will]," although the tweet was later removed.

"This is our mother and her health is paramount. We are not inventing or plotting anything. We are following doctor's advice. Period," he wrote in another tweet.

Randy, Jermaine and Janet were also accused of trying to ambush Jackson's children. Randy took to Twitter requesting "respect" from the public.

"We ask that everyone respects that this is a serious matter that will be handled by the proper authorities," Randy tweeted.

Janet has not publicly addressed the matter.
