Viewers will recall that "Prison Break," created by Paul Scheuring, was a sensation when it first launched in 2005. It had four successful seasons up to 2009.

When it first stated its run, "Prison Break" had all the essential ingredients to capture a loyal fan base - emotional drama, action and romance, family ties, and brotherhood.

The storyline centred around two brothers and had an interesting premise. One brother has been wrongly sentenced to death for a crime he has not committed. The other brother makes a plan to help his brother escape from prison. Both then try to find the real killer and clear the family name.

At the same time, a larger conspiracy on a national scale is also unveiled and stopped.

To revive the series, the creators will have to bring back Michael Scofield from the dead as it was shown he had died at end of season 4. His return from the dead may bring more family drama but a believable comeback has to be written for this.

To bring the excitement back and as a lead up to the launch of the new season, fans can expect re-runs of the previous seasons of "Prison Break" to air.

"Prison Break" Season 1 has already started airing in Spanish from Oct. 20 at NBC UNIVERSO.
