According to a short and speculative report by the International Business Times (IBT), there are rumors being circulated about the much-anticipated next iteration of the hybrid laptop device. So far Microsoft has not divulged or even hinted at a release date schedule. The company has also been quiet on the specifications or the price ranges that they are aiming for with their next Surface Book release.
In the IBT report, however, it would seem that there are unconfirmed reports that could suggest a release date sometime in between the months of March and June. The reason for why those months are significant in the timeline of the release of the Surface Book 2 was not made clear, although the article did note that it is difficult to discover if there is enough credibility behind the speculation.

Interestingly, Microsoft has done a round of price reduction for the Surface Pro 4 and the Surface Book, along with an update for the Surface Book, as reported by Tech Radar.
