Microsoft Surface Pro 5 Release Date Revealed?
Microsoft has been keeping mum about the details of the Microsoft Surface Pro 5, but rumors are saying that the hybrid laptop may be coming sooner than expected.
Earlier rumors of the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 say that the device may be released in 2017 because the company is waiting up on Intel's Kaby Lake processors which will not be released until the end of this year. New rumors are saying that the Surface Pro 5 may be released as early as next month to rival the rumored release of the MacBook Pro 2016.
Microsoft Surface Pro 5 Release Date, News and Rumors
Microsoft may be releasing the Surface Pro 5 as early as next month in order to rival the release of Apple's MacBook Pro 2016, according to The Bitbag. There was an earlier report about Apple's laptop that stated the MacBook Pro 2016 may be having an October launch. The two laptops are in constant rivalry and that is why the rumors for an earlier release of the Surface Pro 5 have surfaced.
According to the outlet, Microsoft plans for the Surface Pro 5 to have Intel's Kaby Lake processors. However, the chips aren't expected until the end of 2016 so the chances of the hybrid laptop having an early release are low. That is if Intel comes out with an earlier release of the chips this year, the Surface Pro 5 may have a bigger chance of having an earlier release at the last quarter of this year.
