'Middle-earth: Shadow of War' Expansion Pass News: New Trailer Reveals Two Orc Tribes, Two Story Expansions
A new trailer for the Expansion Pass of "Middle-earth: Shadow of War" reveals two new Orc tribes that will be added to the game, along with two additional story expansions.
"Shadow of War" shared their Expansion Pass trailer on YouTube, detailing the newest additions of Orcs in JRR Tolkien's fictional universe and in the Nemesis system — the Slaughter tribe and the Outlaw tribe.
The Slaughter tribe, coming in November, are known for being "the most bloodthirsty in Mordor," IGN confirmed. The Slaughters don't also hold back when doing an ambush, so players should always keep an eye for them.
Meanwhile, the Outlaws are described to be deeply scornful towards foreign invaders, as well as having complete disregard to the Lord of Mordor. The Outlaw tribe will be added to "Shadow of War" in December.
The Expansions of both the Outlaws and the Slaughters will include tribal fortresses, monuments, outposts, and throne rooms for players to explore. Each tribe will also have their own Epic and Legendary Orcs, which can be killed to enhance loot or to gain Legendary gear.
In February next year, "Shadow of War" will have the story expansion titled "Blade of Galadriel." Players will partake in the game as Eltariel, whose mission is to defeat the Nazgul with the use of two blades and the "Light of Galadriel." Players will face new enemies such as Flint and Tinder and Slayer of the Dead.
"Blade of Galadriel" will also introduce eight new Legendary Orcs, equipped with unique abilities, which can be included in the story campaign.
A few months later, "Desolation of Mordor" will be launched in May 2018 where gamers will play as Baranor, the Captain of Minas Ithil. Baranor is the only known survivor from the fall of Mordor, and he will lead a band of mortal men to defeat a new army of Orcs arriving from the East.
"Middle-earth: Shadow of War" is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Android, and Microsoft Windows.
