Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have been photographed celebrating New Year together in Australia, sparking speculations that the two have gotten back together.
Last week, Miley Cyrus flew to Australia to join her ex-fiance Liam Hemsworth and his family in Byron Bay. There were reports saying the former lovers watched the Disclosure's performance at the Falls Festival on Saturday, according to Billboard.
An unnamed source cited by the Gold Coast Bulletin said Cyrus and Hemsworth were seen hugging and kissing affectionately and that they have "absolutely" rekindled their old flame. However, the source's statement has not yet been confirmed.

Cyrus and Hemsworth met in 2010 on the set of the movie "The Last Song." In May 2012, the two got engaged but did not set a wedding date. They reportedly broke off their engagement in September 2013 but have remained close since.
On Oct. 7, Hemsworth explained their arrangement to Men's Fitness. He seemed to indicate that his feelings for the singer have remained the same despite their breakup, the Inquisitr reports.
"You fall in love with who you fall in love with; you can never choose. I guess some people just come with a little more baggage," Hemsworth told Men's Fitness in an interview. "I mean, look — we were together five years, so I don't think those feelings will ever change. And that's good because that proves to me that it was real. It wasn't just a fling."
Hemsworth added that his relationship with Cyrus will always be an important part of his life. He described his ex-fiancee as a young girl who wants to be free to do whatever she wants, the report relays.
People magazine says lots of fans took photos of the former couple during the New Year event last weekend. Despite the brewing rumors about them, Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have remained mum on their real status.
