Miley Cyrus Invites 'Twilight' Star Kellan Lutz to NYE Gig? 'He's Liam's Pal'
Miley Cyrus has been linked to "Twilight" star Kellan Lutz, three months after her split from Liam Hemsworth.
The "Wrecking Ball" singer, 21, was photographed with Lutz, 28, after a getaway to the Bahamas on Dec. 18, Daily Mail UK reported.
The pair reportedly began spending time together in early December and a report claims Cyrus has invited the actor to be her VIP guest at Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve concert - where she will perform in New York City on Dec. 31.
"Miley wants Kellan to be her guest at Dick Clark's Rockin' New Year's Eve Concert in New York. Miley is super excited to perform and she's going to be doing something very exciting for the show," a source told HollywoodLife.com.
"Something she's never done before and wants Kellan to be her VIP guest. There's a huge party after the concert as well," the source revealed.
Lutz, who rose to stardom as Emmett Cullen in "Twilight," is believed to have initiated contact with Cyrus recently. He is said to be a friend of Hemsworth, 23, who called off his engagement to the former Disney star in September.
"The next day, they hung out, [they're] really enjoying each other's company," a source told Us magazine. "It doesn't hurt that he's Liam's pal."
The "Adore You" singer appears to be happier than ever despite her broken engagement to Hemsworth, who she began dating in 2009. She recently opened up about making revelations about herself after the split, particularly that she had a fear of "being alone" during their four-year relationship.
"I was so scared of ever being alone, and I think, conquering that fear, this year, was actually bigger than any other transition that I had, this entire year," Cyrus said in an interview for "Barbara Walters Presents The 10 Most Fascinating People of 2013."
"I don't ever want to have to need someone again, where you feel like, without them, you can't be yourself," she explained.
