Miley Cyrus, Liam Hemsworth Not in Open Relationship

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are still together despite reports of a cheating scandal, but a new report suggests that the Australian actor wants an open relationship.

The engaged couple, who has been together for four years, has reportedly been working through relationship woes in recent weeks. While Hemsworth is said to be interested in having an open relationship, Cyrus, 20, is strongly against the idea.

"No way in hell are they having an open relationship! That's not the way Miley was raised, she has morals," a source told HollywoodLife.com.

In February it was claimed that Hemsworth, 23, was caught with actress January Jones, 35, at a pre-Oscars party. Days after the explosive reports of an affair surfaced, Cyrus was spotted without her engagement ring, alluding to a broken engagement.

The "Hunger Games" star recently took timeout from the couple's relationship and was photographed spending time with his family in Australia. Cyrus is said to be intent on making their relationship work despite the fact that Hemsworth and Jones have never publicly addressed the cheating rumors.

"She's making sure that she gives Liam his space because she doesn't want to be needy and they're still working through stuff, but there's absolutely no chance she'd agree to an open relationship," the insider explained.

In March, it was claimed that Cyrus and her ex-boyfriend of two years Nick Jonas, 20, were seen enjoying lunch together at Paty's in Los Angeles. The report only fueled claims of an open relationship, but Cyrus would never agree to one, according to reports.

"Miley is going through a wild phase, but she's still the same girl underneath and she really believes in true love and soul mates and it's just ridiculous to think she'd agree to that kind of arrangement!" the source said.
