Miley Cyrus Offers Thanks to Supportive Fans During Performance at iHeartRadio Festival in Vegas
Miley Cyrus was on stage performing for the first time since her controversial act during MTV's Video Music Awards and was a fan favorite at the iHeartRadio music festival in Las Vegas over the weekend.
She did a four-song set and opened with "We Can't Stop," where people onstage were dressed in flower, mushroom and rainbow costumes. She followed the colorful performance with "Party In the USA."
But it was her emotional rendition of "Wrecking Ball" that was her set's highlight. Cyrus was seen crying as she left the stage and she also thanked the audience for helping the song top the Billboard Hot 100 chart this week.

"I couldn't have done it without all you guys," she said.
Cyrus has gained a great deal of attention in the weeks since her VMA act with viewers at the time filing complaints with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).
More than 150 viewers submitted complains to the to express their outrage about Miley Cyrus' raunchy performance at last month's MTV Video Music Awards, and to request the actress and the network receive punishment for it.
The FCC released the complaints due to a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request on behalf of The Smoking Gun website, which posted "the highlights" online. The viewers' identities have been protected by the FCC, but their comments reveal a great deal of anger.
A viewer who identified as Christian commented, "She has shown what she is acting like a devil flicking that tongue as deamons [sic] do. Shame on her and MTV. They should all be fined for this broadcast."
One person wrote, "Had I wanted my family to see a hooker perform a live sex show, I would have taken her to Tijuana," calling the event "a third rate exhibition of what a pedophile would like to see during a child pornography live show."
