Miley Cyrus With 'Twilight' Star Kellan Lutz in Bahamas (VIDEO)
Miley Cyrus is allegedly not dating actor Kellan Lutz, despite reports claiming otherwise.
The "Wrecking Ball" singer, 21, and Lutz, who rose to stardom as Emmett Cullen in "Twilight," were photographed arriving in Miami on the same private jet on Wednesday, Dec. 18. The pair reportedly enjoyed a brief trip to the Bahamas and while fans are speculating the possibility of a romance, a source insists they are "definitely not a couple," E! News reported.
Cyrus, who announced her split from actor Liam Hemsworth in September, was dressed casually in denim shorts paired with a white sweater. Lutz, 28, also opted for denim paired with a shirt. The Hollywood stars were also joined by mutual friends during their stay at Treasure Cay resort, according to Daily Mail U.K.
The former Disney star appears to be happier than ever despite her broken engagement to Hemsworth, 23. She recently opened up about making revelations about herself after her the split, particularly that she had a fear of "being alone" during their four-year relationship.
"I was so scared of ever being alone, and I think, conquering that fear, this year, was actually bigger than any other transition that I had, this entire year," Cyrus said in an interview for "Barbara Walters Presents The 10 Most Fascinating People of 2013," according to Us magazine.
"I don't ever want to have to need someone again, where you feel like, without them, you can't be yourself," she explained.
Cyrus and the "Hunger Games" actor began dating in 2009 after meeting on the set of "The Last Song." In 2012 Hemsworth proposed, but it was not long before they were faced with relationship troubles.
The pop star acknowledged that age played a role in their heartbreaking split, but she has no regrets.
"I don't think I realized what 19 truly is, and I got engaged at 19, and I definitely wouldn't change being engaged," she said.
"It was so fun wearing a fat rock for a few years," she continued. "But now, I just feel like I can actually be happy. I wait for those moments of silence, when I'm just at my house, by myself."
