Miley SNL Debut: Will Cyrus Mock Sinead O'Connor Twitter Feud?

Miley Cyrus is preparing to host "Saturday Night Live" and critics fear that the pop singer may reignite her recent fued with Sinead O'Connor by potentially ridiculing the singer on the show.

In addition to hosting "SNL," the "Wrecking Ball" singer, 20, is scheduled to perform ahead of the Tuesday release of her fourth studio album "Bangerz." Cyrus is expected to mock recent controversies including her MTV VMAs performance and a source claims she is also eager to ridicule her Twitter feud with O'Connor, who recently called for a truce.

"[It's] got Miley's creative juices flowing," a source told Page Six about Cyrus and O'Connor's feud. "She has been coming up with so many wild ideas that (SNL creator) Lorne Michaels has had to rein her in. No topless twerking. Her mom is there with her."

On Friday the "Nothing Compares 2 U" singer, 46, insisted that her feud with Cyrus was "over" after penning three open letters to the former Disney star. The pair began feuding on Twitter over Cyrus' Rolling Stone interview, in which she revealed that O'Connor's classic music video for "Nothing Compares 2 U" inspired her controversial "Wrecking Ball" video.

"It's about music being murdered, it's not actually about Miley," O'Connor said during a Friday appearance on Ireland's "The Late Late Show." "As far as I'm concerned it's over, it's not something I really want to talk about."

The pair had a heated exchange on the social networking site which resulted in O'Connor threatening legal action, however she confirmed that she has since moved past the drama. The singer shifted her focus on the music industry as a whole and questioned the quality of today's music.

"Artists around the world will agree that music is being murdered, the power of real rock and roll to move people, to change things is being murdered," she said.
