'Minecraft' News: 'Fallout' Battle Maps Pack Now Available for Console Edition of the Game, Three New Locations Included

New 'Fallout' battle maps pack for Console Edition of 'Minecraft' available for $2.99

The worlds of "Minecraft" and "Fallout" have intertwined once again with a new battle maps pack featuring some locations from the post-apocalyptic franchise that is now available to purchase.

This new battle maps pack gives players access to three new locations that can serve as ideal proving grounds for brave players.

Developers revealed more details about these new battle maps in a recent post on the game's official website.

The first of the new battle maps is the General Atomics Galleria, a location that may be familiar to gamers who recently played "Fallout 4." "Minecraft's" version of the General Atomics Galleria is a little different as players won't be asked to complete certain tasks before they can fully enjoy this location. However, players are still advised to exercise caution while they are battling on this map because aside from their opponents, there are also traps to watch out for.

Also included in the "Fallout" battle maps pack is the location known as the Capitol. Unlike with the first map, the Capitol is not a direct recreation of any particular setting that has previously been seen in earlier "Fallout" games. Instead, as developers noted, this is a battle map that combines several notable elements of different "Fallout" locations, so long-time fans of that open world role-playing game series may find some familiar bits and pieces of it here.

The last of the new battle maps included in the pack is Libertalia, another setting previously featured in "Fallout 4." Just as with the original version, players may find it difficult at first to navigate Libertalia's complex network of pathways. On top of that, "Minecraft" players will also have to be mindful of their opponents, so they will need to always have their guards up here.

Players interested in getting this battle maps pack can now purchase it for $2.99.

More news about other additions that may be released for the Console Edition of "Minecraft" should be made available soon.
