"Minecraft: Story Mode — Episode 3: The Last Place" out now for Xbox One and Xbox 360
Mojang and Telltale Games' latest release, "Minecraft: Story Mode — Episode 3: The Last Place," is now available for purchase for the Xbox One and Xbox 360. Lawrence Hryb, a.k.a. Major Nelson, Microsoft's director of programming, made the announcement on Tuesday, Nov. 24.
Here's the official game description:
"As Jesse, you'll embark on a perilous adventure across the Overworld, through the Nether, to the End, and beyond. You and your friends revere the legendary Order of the Stone: Warrior, Redstone Engineer, Griefer, and Architect; slayers of the Ender Dragon. While at EnderCon in hopes of meeting Gabriel the Warrior, you and your friends discover that something is wrong… something dreadful. Terror is unleashed, and you must set out on a quest to find The Order of the Stone if you are to save your world from oblivion."
Two other episodes of "Minecraft: Story Mode" are expected to roll out on the PC, Xbox One, and Xbox 360. Players can also have access to all five episodes for $24.99 or the Season Pass retail disc versions for $29.99 each on the two Xbox consoles.

In a separate post, Major Nelson also announced that "Minecraft: Xbox One Edition" holiday pack is now available.

It features the Festive Mash-up DLC which, although not an official Christmas-themed DLC, includes Santa skins, snow textures, new music, and a generally "festive world."
The holiday pack also includes three texture packs, Minecraft Fantasy texture pack, Nature texture pack, and City texture pack. It also provides players with two skin packs, the Battle skin pack and the Beasts skin pack, to help them customize the look of their characters.
For "Halo" fans, there's the Halo Mash-up, a special set that offers "Halo" skins, textures, music, and an overall "Halo"-themed "Minecraft" world.
