'Mistresses' Season 4: Two-Night Season Finale Airs and Possibly the End for the Series Too
April is pregnant and Harry discovers he is a father to a grownup.
"Mistresses" Season 4 serves a two-night season finale beginning Monday night. From the looks of it, both episodes are pretty interesting, if not scandalous.
April's baby news
On the first night, April (Rochelle Aytes) will tell Josslyn (Jes Macallan) and Karen (Yunjin Kim) that she is pregnant and she wants to keep it a secret from her baby daddy, Marc (Rob Mayes).

In a just-released sneak peek, April can be seen delivering the news while at the same time admitting to her two friends that she has not figured out how to tell Marc yet. She knows that he will want to get back together with her if he knew of the pregnancy. But she did not want to obligate him to do so. If ever, April wants him to come back to her because he loves her, and not because he needed to.
Meet the parents
The clip of the "Mistresses" Season 4 episode with the title "Back to the Start" ends with the three girls celebrating another baby news. Together with the release of the sneak peek, the official description for the episode also came out. Aside from the April storyline, it revealed that Karen and Adam's (Justin Hartley) relationship reaches a milestone when she goes to meet his parents.
Meanwhile, Karen will have to deal with the devastating consequences of the Nanny Lydia (Alanna Masterson) situation. In previous episodes, the two developed a close bond, but Lydia soon abused her boss' kindness when she posed as her on a dating site. But Karen busted her in the last episode and fired her. According to the teaser of "Mistresses" Season 4 episode, Lydia appears to be contemplating on ending her life. This decision will affect Karen's life in a major way.
"Mistresses" Season 4 finale
On Tuesday, the "Mistresses" Season 4 finale will air and ABC has also revealed the synopsis for the episode titled "The Show Must Go On". It will be fast forwarded several months into the future.
By then, Josslyn and Harry (Brett Tucker), as well as April and Marc had gotten married and are now new parents. Marc becomes the overly concerned, attentive parent. Harry, on the other hand, is trying to learn how to be a father and maintains the hands-off way first. His world, however, goes topsy turvy when he meets Gabe, who turns out to be someone from his past.
Will this have something to do with the teaser for "Mistresses" Season 4 regarding a revelation about Harry? He gets shocked to learn that he has fathered a son, who is now all grown up. The guy will bear a striking resemblance to Harry and will tell him he is his father.
Series renewal not a sure thing
There is still no news about "Mistresses" being renewed for a fifth season. Despite the steady ratings its current season has been getting, renewal of the series is not yet a done deal. Many people are wondering, including the network for sure, why it keeps on losing a big chunk of its highly rated "Bachelor in Paradise" lead-in. The show's fate will be clearer after a few weeks from the airing of its season finale.
