MLB Playoffs 2017 Schedule, Dates, Ticket Latest News: Cubs, Dodgers to Face Each Other Once More at This Year's NLCS
Following the Chicago Cubs' victory over the Washington Nationals on Game Five of the National League Division Series (NLDS) last Thursday night, the 2017 National League Championship Series (NLCS) has now been set.
The Cubs will be facing the Los Angeles Dodgers, which has also earned a spot on the NLCS earlier in the week after the third game with the Arizona Diamondbacks as this year's Major League Baseball (MLB) Playoffs continue.
According to CBS Sports, the Dodgers have set the league's best record, managing to go 104–58 with a +190 run differential during the regular season. On the other hand, the Cubs have set a 92–70 with a +127 differential, which has, in turn, put them 12 games back of the Dodgers in the overall standings.

The two clubs have previously met last year, with the Cubs clinching the series in Game Six despite losing Games Two and Three.
This year's Games One and Two are set to commence on Saturday, Oct. 14, at 8 p.m. EDT and on Sunday, Oct. 15, at 7:30 p.m. EDT, respectively, at the Dodger Stadium. Clayton Kershaw will be pitching for the Dodgers on Game One, while Rich Hill is all set to pitch for the Dodgers in Game Two.
On the other hand, Games Three and Four have been scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 17, at 9 p.m. EDT and Wednesday, Oct. 18, at 9 p.m. EDT, respectively, at the Wrigley Field with Yu Darvish and Alex Wood pitching for Three and Four respectively.
Game Four of the NLCS may begin an hour earlier should the American League Championship Series (ACLS) between the New York Yankees and the Houston Astros end by Game Four.
Additionally, should the Dodgers and the Cubs take the NLCS to Game Five, it will be played on the Wrigley Field on Thursday, Oct. 19, at 8 p.m. EDT, while Games Six and Seven have been scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 21, at 4 p.m. EDT and Sunday, Oct. 22, at 7:30 p.m. EDT, respectively, at the Dodger Stadium.
Game Six may begin at 8 p.m. EDT if the ALCS is already over.
Pitchers for the Chicago Cubs are yet to be assigned.
All NLCS games will be telecast on TBS, while the ACLS games are aired on FOX and FOX Sports 1.
The winners of the National League and American League championships will then be facing each other at the 113th World Series set to begin on Tuesday, Oct. 24. And should the series go all the way to Game Seven, the clincher has been scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 1. The World Series will exclusively be televised on FOX.
