'Modern Family' Season 7 News, Spoilers: Mitch Works For Jay's Rival Company
Change would be a constant concept for the Pritchetts and Dunphys as the current 7th season of ABC's award-winning TV series "Modern Family" moves on this week. According to spoiler reports, Mitch and Jay may come in coercion, once again, as the need to support Mitch's family arises. Meanwhile, fans of the currently on and off-again lovers Haley and Andy may have to wait for a little bit longer before the two make it official.
Titled "The Closet Case," the synopsis shared over at The Futon Critic talks about Mitch taking steps to find a new source of income after he quits from his old job. Interestingly, it just so happens that he applied for Jay's biggest rival – Closets, Closets, Closets, Closets! – as a consultant. Needless to say, this situation won't sit well with Jay and this might spark yet another conflict between the father and son. With Mitch desperate to find financial stability as soon as possible, he might have to set aside and disregard Jay's feelings on this issue.
On the other hand, Haley wants Dylan to move in temporarily and Phil helps her get Claire to agree with the setup. However, the cool dad may start rethinking his decision when he sees how intimate living together means.
Viewers may find Hayley's action a bit questionable especially since her special relationship with Andy has already been established in the show.
But for the show's co-creator Christopher Lloyd, the thing between Andy and Haley will further be explored as the season will progress. The showrunner said that while the two are obviously apprehensive to manifest their relationship, they will, however, will be taking "small steps" together as a couple.
Moreover, Gloria and Cameron are having separate opinions regarding how Manny should handle his problem at school.
Catch the new episode of "Modern Family" Season 7 this Wednesday, at 9 p.m. on ABC.
