'Modern Family' Season 7 Spoilers: Miss Colombia as Gloria's Twin?

With the start of new season of "Modern Family," fans can expect more surprises from the quirky family.

The beginning of "Modern Family" started loudly with a legendary celebrity posing as a guest star on the series. It was revealed that Barbara Streisand made her way into the small screen when she landed a role in the premiere of "Modern Family" season 7.

Streisand was heard in the episode titled "Playdates." She had tweeted about her involvement in the series through her official Twitter account. She posted, "Watch #ModernFamily Wednesday Jan. 6th at 9pm on ABC! You might hear a familiar voice… Dunphys, can you hear me?"

The episode showed the Prichetts at a playdate for Joe. They seemed happy to be pursuing the playdate, since they share a lot of similarities. Unfortunately, it did not go as smoothly as planned because it was revealed that the father of Joe's new friend was around 80 years old.

Aside from Streisand, there are further speculations that another guest star could be brought into the series. Reports state that Miss Colombia could be gracing the future episodes with her presence. Fans were quick to compare Ariadna Gutierrez to one of the "Modern Family" stars Sofia Vergara.

It was revealed that even Vergara, who is from Colombia herself, acknowledged the fact that they look alike. According to Austalian Network, Vergara stated, "I think she will be a great Gloria. I am already teaching her how to fake her accent."

Although it would be interesting to have two Glorias on the show, it seems as though the actress was just joking. With that, there has yet to be any confirmation as to whether Miss Colombia will be making an appearance in the upcoming episodes.

"Modern Family" season 7 airs on ABC every Wednesday.
