'Modern Family' Season 9 Episode 6 Spoilers: Cam and Mitch Prepare Musical Number for Daddy Jay
Gloria (Sofia Vergara) and Jay (Ed O'Neill) are celebrating their tenth anniversary in the upcoming episode of "Modern Family."
In the episode titled "Ten Years Later," the synopsis reveals that a huge party will be organized to celebrate the new milestone in the Pritchett's life. Claire (Julie Bowen) will reportedly host the festivity to make up for her behavior during Jay and Gloria's wedding in the past. The family members are invested in the preparation, with Phil (Ty Burrell) planning to perform a magic trick involving Gloria. In his act, Jay's wife will appear out of thin air wearing her wedding dress. There is a problem, though. Gloria is not sure the outfit will still fit her.
As for Cam (Eric Stonestreet) and Mitch (Jesse Tyler Ferguson), the promo photos show them in a musical performance. Mitch is holding a microphone belting out a song, while Cam makes himself comfortable behind a set of drums. The redhead is also shown grooving to the accompaniment of a cello. Jay looks ecstatic with the performances, whipping out his tablet and recording the whole thing. Gloria seems unhappy at times, but she can be seen smiling widely at some point. Elsewhere, Claire is busy monitoring everything, including her husband's scheme.

Last episode, Claire and Phil were eager to spend the Halloween. They wanted the kids to join them, but the teens were not so enthusiastic. Husband and wife decided to row a boat on the lake for fun's sake. Claire was wearing a Wonder Woman costume, complete with headgear. Their kids Haley (Sarah Hyland), Luke (Nolan Gould) and Alex (Ariel Winter) were scared their parents would drown in the water and urged them to stop. Meanwhile, Gloria and Cam had an argument about his refusal to leave her house and return home. Mitch also made clear to Jay that the renovation of their kitchen was taking so long.
"Modern Family" season 9 episode 5 will air on Wednesday, Oct. 25, at 9 p.m. EDT on ABC.
