'Modern Family' Season 9 Episode 7 Spoilers: Phil's Magic Obsession Still Strong
Phil (Ty Burrell) is still not over his newfound passion for magic in the upcoming episode of "Modern Family."
In the episode titled "Winner Winner Turkey Dinner," the synopsis reveals that Phil will practice hard to become a better magician and make his family proud. During Gloria (Sofia Vergara) and Jay's (Ed O'Neill) party to celebrate their tenth anniversary, Phil prepared a magic trick. He made his mother-in-law appear out of thin air wearing her wedding dress. Suffice it to say that the performance was a flop.
Phil is determined to prove to the clan that he is not a failure. During the Thanksgiving dinner, he will try to show his skills as a future magician again. It will be interesting to see what kind of trick Phil will prepare to wow Jay and the others.

Elsewhere, Jay will take some time to honor the family's recent success in his Thanksgiving toast. While everyone knows the success aren't all real, there will be a collective agreement so as not to disappoint the Pritchett patriarch during the holiday.
Meanwhile, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, who plays Mitchell, recently set the records straight that Victoria Beckham has not signed up to be part of the ABC show. Many fans were pleasantly surprised when the former Spice Girls member posted a photo of her family on the "Modern Family" set. Ferguson said that she met Beckham and her husband David outside a SoulCycle class in Los Angeles, and she mentioned how they love the show.
"And then I was like, 'You know, if you wanted to come by the set, you certainly can.' I gave her my number. I was like, 'She's never going to text me.' I get out of my SoulCycle class and there's like nine texts from Victoria. She's like, 'When are we going? Why aren't you answering? Pick up your phone, I want to come by the set.' So they ended up coming by and the whole family came and everyone on set was so excited," the actor shared.
"Modern Family" season 9 episode 7 will air on Wednesday, Nov. 15, at 9 p.m. EST on ABC.
