Monday Night Football Live Stream: Watch Online Atlanta Falcons vs Green Bay Packers (ESPN TV Start Time, Preview)

NFL Monday Night Football takes place tonight with the Atlanta Falcons and the Green Bay Packers set to do battle in a massive game full of postseason implications. The game will start at 8.30 p.m. ET and takes place from Landau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The game can also be watched on TV on the ESPN network, or online through ESPN live stream (details below).

The Falcons come into tonight's game on 5-7 but amazingly are still top of the NFC South. They do need to win tonight, however, if they want to remain sole occupiers of the top spot and keep clear distance between themselves and the New Orleans Saints who are second in the division on 5-8.

In addition to those two teams, the Carolina Panthers are still in with a shout in the division even though they are on 4-8-1, and if they can win out the season, combined with continued poor form from the Falcons and Saints, they could amazingly still sneak the NFC South title and a Playoff spot along with it.

The Packers are a much more impressive 9-3 coming into today's game, but are in a similar position in the NFC North. At the moment they are being closely chased by the 9-4 Detroit Lions, meaning if they want to keep sole possession of the top spot in the NFC North then they need to claim the win against the Falcons tonight.

The Packers will be massive favorites to win this one; they have home field advantage as well as nearly twice as many wins as the Falcons this season. Green Bay have also been in irresistible form, winning their last four straight game, scoring more than 150 points in the process.

In Week 10, the Packers claimed a 55-14 home win over the Chicago Bears to get the ball rolling on their sprint got the NFC North title. They followed that up with an emphatic 53-20 home win over the highly rated Philadelphia Eagles.

They were able to continue their momentum with a 24-21 road win over the Minnesota Vikings in Week 12, and then last week they returned home to defeat one of the favorites for this year's Super Bowl, the New England Patriots, by a score of 26-21.

The Green Bay Packers are undefeated at home this season, and if they can complete their drive to overturn the 10-3 Arizona Cardinals as the top seeded team in the NFC before the regular season is over then they will be massive favorites to make the Super Bowl, as they will have secured home field advantage for their postseason run.

The Packers are ranked number 1 in the NFL this season for points scored per game, recording 31.7 points on average. They have done most of their damage in the air, claiming an average of 269.0 passing yards per game, which ranks them 8th in the NFL for pass yards.

The quarterback match up tonight will be between Aaron Rodgers and Matt Ryan, who combined have a total of 53 touchdowns already this season. Ryan is 306 of 465 for 3,427 yards and 21 touchdowns, compared to Rodgers' 252 of 380 for 3,326 yards and 32 touchdowns.
