Monday Night Football takes place tonight with a big game between the New Orleans Saints and the Chicago Bears. Both teams come into today's game with a poor 5-8 record, however, both will want to win today for different reasons. The Bears need to win to keep pace with the 6-8 Minnesota Vikings, who they will want to leapfrog to avoid finishing bottom of the NFC North.
The Saints meanwhile have dropped to second in the NFC South following the Carolina Panthers' victory at the weekend. The Panthers have moved up to 5-8-1, meaning the Saints will need to win today to regain top spot in the division, and of course with it, a place in the Playoffs.

Tonight's quarterback match up will see Drew Brees go up against Jay Cutler, which should be a mouthwatering encounter, with the two QBs putting on a combined total of 54 touchdowns so far this season.
Brees is 373 of 538 for 3,983 yards and 28 touchdowns, compared to Cutler's 330 of 494 for 3,446 yards and 26 touchdowns.
If the Saints can win today they will move back into contention for a postseason berth, and will face two tough divisional match-ups in their final two games of the regular season to confirm their place in the Playoffs.
First of all on Sunday they will host the Atlanta Falcons, who also are chasing the NFC South division title. On the final day of the regular season, the Saints will go on the road to Tampa Bay to face the Buccaneers, who are a lowly 2-12 and competing for the first NFL draft pick next season.
New Orleans must recapture their best form though, and they have lost two of their past three games. In Week 12 they lost 27-34 to the Baltimore Ravens, and last week they suffered a bad 10-41 loss to the Carolina Panthers.
