'Monster Hunter: World' News: Everything to Know About The Beta
Developed by Capcom, "Monster Hunter: World" is one of the most highly anticipated titles in the gaming community. It has received a lot of hype in the past few months since it has been announced, and with only another few months to go before the release, the developers seems to be determined to keep the hype up. During this year's Paris Games Week Sony, Capcom has announced the details for the "Monster Hunter: World" beta and PlayStation 4 (PS4) owners seem to be the star of the show with a few special surprises.
According to reports, only PS4 players will have the chance to play as Aloy, who first appeared in "Horizon Zero Dawn." Sony teased her presences in "Monster Hunter: World" and the game publisher revealed that she will be a professional dinosaur hunter in Capcom's crossover universe. Aloy is also featured in the trailer for "Monster Hunter: World," which was unveiled during the Paris Games Week 2017.
Although Aloy is exclusive for PS4 owners, the "Monster Hunter: World" beta will be available for all platforms. It will run from Dec. 9 to Dec. 12 for PlayStation Plus subscribers. Furthermore, the beta itself will feature three quests, which can be played solo or online. It will also feature new monsters and environments. The quests will be held in Great Jargas and Anjanath in the Ancient Forest area, and in Barroth in the Wildspire Waste area.
Based on the fans' experience, Great Jargas might prove to be the easiest quest out of the three, followed by Anjanath, with Barroth being the most difficult. "Monster Hunter: World" is expected to be released in stores on Jan. 26 for PS4 and Xbox One. The PC version of the game has yet to receive an official release date but more information is expected in the coming weeks.
