'Monster Hunter: World' News: What Awaits Players in the Rotten Vale
The Rotten Vale will be home to the monster known as the Odogaron
Developers have already shown off a few of the areas that will be included in "Monster Hunter: World."
These locations can be described as breathtaking natural landscapes that simultaneously give off some bad vibes as they look like ideal homes for numerous monsters.
It is that blend of beauty and danger that makes many locations in the "Monster Hunter" universe so memorable. And yet, the most recently revealed area now set to be featured in the latest installment of the series looks like it will become significant in a different way.
A new trailer released by the developers gave fans an early look at the Rotten Vale, and that is certainly an apt name for it.
The Rotten Vale is not going to be mistaken for any tourist destination, and if anything, it looks like a place that should be avoided at all costs.
The Vale seems to be enveloped by noxious fumes. And if explorers can somehow find a way to see through those fumes, they will find that the remains of monsters are scattered all around them.
It is pretty clear that the Rotten Vale is not a good place to be in just by how it looks, and it becomes downright unpleasant once players run into the monsters that call it home.
Developers have described the Rotten Vale's monsters as "vulturous," and apparently, they are also the ones responsible for the place being filled with skeletons.
The Rotten Vale is also where the fearsome Odogaron resides, and it will quickly take out any "Monster Hunter: World" players who are not adequately prepared to face it in battle.
Once players have had their fill of the Rotten Vale, they can head on over to the other locations in the game such as the Ancient Forest, the Coral Highlands or the Wildspire Waste.
"Monster Hunter: World" is set to be released for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on Jan. 26. The game is also expected to be launched on the PC sometime next year.
