More Huawei P9 Images Leak
Another set of images of the upcoming flagship, the Huawei P9, has surfaced online, leaving consumers wondering if there will be something unknown left to unveil when Huawei launches the device a few days from now on April 6. According to a report in Android Authority, the new images which came out courtesy of Weibo, confirm that the device will be sporting a dual-camera set-up on its rear.
According to the report, the new images show that the device will have a sleek all-metal design, and a 5.2-inch screen with a resolution of 1,080 x 1,920 pixels. Earlier rumors point to a powerful Kirin 950 processor paired with 3 GB of RAM, and internal storage of 32 GB. The device's dual camera will have 12-megapixel sensors which is equipped with laser focus and Optical Image Stabilization or OIS.
Another report in Digital Trends cited the presence of an ambient light sensor on the device's front, right next of the 5-megapixel selfie camera. At the bottom is where the speaker, the headphone jack and the USB Type-C port are located.
Officially, the Chinese company has released teaser photos of the device, particularly its dual cameras on its rear, its rectangular-shaped fingerprint reader and a closer look at one corner of the device, which showed off its all-metal frame. Aside from these official images, reports have also cited that Huawei's president was the first user of the device, having been seen several times using a phone with what looked like two rear-facing cameras.
Other rumored specs include a bottom speaker grill, a USB Type-C port for faster charging and faster data transfer and a 3.5 mm stereo headphone jack that is strangely located at the bottom of the device.
Earlier leaks of rendered images also indicate that the phone will come in white, black, silver, gold and pink color options.
