Moto X Pure Edition 64GB Version Now Out in the Market
In time for the New Year, Motorola has made available a new variant of its Moto X phone with the 64 GB 2014 Moto X Pure Edition.
Motorola first made the announcement on its official Motorola Mobility Twitter page on New Year, introducing the Pure Edition of its Moto X, which is pretty much the unlocked version of its Moto X Generation 2 smartphone.
"New 64GB #MotoX Pure Edition now available," the tweet read. "Store more for just an extra $100 off-contract."

The unlocked Pure Edition version of the Moto X is more expensive than the usual, but it comes with a higher storage, making it among the rare 64 GB Android phones to offer more storage. It is apparent when compared to the likes of the HTC One M8, Xperia Z3, LG G3 and Samsung Galaxy S5 that come in at 32 GB. The 64 GB would also be considered a plus not just for Motorola but for consumers, especially when for seek the iPhone with its 64 GB or even 128 GB variants, according to Ars Technica.
The recently-introduced 64 GB variant exclusively available for only the Moto X smartphone, with most Motorola phones still available for only either 16 GB or 32 GB. There have been no announcements yet on whether Motorola will make the higher storage available for other phones.
The off-contract unlocked Moto X has been tagged at $599.99, while the unlocked, Verizon and AT&T phones come at 32 GB for $549.99 and 16 GB for $499.99. Republic Wireless offers everything at $100 discounted price, which might also interest consumers, according to Ars Technica.
The Moto X Gen 2 comes with a 5.3-inch screen with 1080x1920 pixel, an OLED display and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It operates on a 2.5 GHz quadcore Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with 2GB of RAM, a 13 megapixel rear camera, a 2 megapixel front camera and 2300 mAh battery, according to NDTV.
