Moto X Pure Edition (Moto X Style) kicks off pre-order, specs revealed

There is a long list of Android phones to choose from but one that a person should really consider is the Moto X Pure Edition by Motorola. The smartphone is now available for pre-order in the U.S. and is expected to be in the markets of 55 countries including the UK, according to International Business Times. For a price of $399 for the basic, Motorola's latest flagship device is a good steal especially for those who are looking for affordable yet excellent Android phones.

Motorola's Moto X Pure Edition is actually an unlocked version of the Moto X Style that can be customized and available through the company's website. Amazon and Best Buy are also taking pre-orders but interested customers will most likely head straight to the official website to make use of the company's Moto Maker customization. Through this customize feature, buyers can choose their preferred look and feel of the handset's housing which can come in wood, plastic, leather or coated silicone rubber (CSR). Various color and texture options will also be available as well as accent colors including either a black or white front.

When it comes to the specs, customers can look forward to getting a device that sports a 5.7-inch quad HD display, a 1.8GHz hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor, 3GB of RAM and a microSD that can support up to 128GB. It will have a 21-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera that has an extra LED flash for selfie.
