Moto 360 vs Samsung Galaxy Gear 2 Review: Specs, Features and Price Comparison
The battle of the smartwatches is on as leading tech companies try to outdo each other in the latest trend to hit the market: wearable devices that enable one to check email, monitor heart rate, access basic apps and tell time.
Two particular watches are on the radar: the Motorola 360 and the Samsung Galaxy Gear 2.

Design:
The Gear 2 has a rectangular face, measuring at 36.9 x 58.4 x 10mm, and though it's not a small watch, it's not cumbersome either. Those with small wrists might feel like the device will take some getting used to, but the 1.63-inch OLED screen is really nice to look at. Samsung also gives users the option to change the strap if they want to (to coordinate with outfits, perhaps), but the rose gold color of the original strap is attractive enough.
The 360, on the other hand, is touted to be the best looking among all the smartwatches, which is something given that the watch hasn't been released yet. However, leaked images of the watch on the Internet shows the device sporting a circular face, It is said to have a 1.5 inch backlit LCD touchscreen which is reportedly made of Gorilla Glass.
Features:
The Gear 2 is compatible with a Samsung device, and it will include an infra-red blaster, which allows the user to control his TV with a flick of the wrist. It has exercise tracking, as well as a camera.
The 360 is said to be compatible with most devices running on Android 4.3 or later. It has a built in optical heart rate monitor, built in pedometer, is voice activated, water resistant up to 3.3 feet of water for up to 30 minutes, and has a vibration alert.
Price:
The Samsung Gear 2 is available for $295, while the Moto 360 will go for $250 once its available. The Moto 360 is rumored to be released by the first week of September.
