Motorola Moto G (2015) Specs, Release Date: Phone Manufacturer's Top Midranger Sells Out on Moto Maker Website
The new Motorola Moto G (2015) smartphone was launched less than a week ago, and it has definitely become a must-have for Motorola and Android enthusiasts. Unfortunately, for people who may be interested in getting the 2GB RAM/16GB version of the device via the Moto Maker website, you may need to wait a while.
According to a recent report by Phone Arena, the new Android-powered smartphone has run out of stock in the company's Moto Maker website. The Moto Maker is a website application that allows interested buyers to customise the look of their device before it gets sent to them. It seems, more people pre-ordered through the website than Motorola expected.
Meanwhile, the 8GB edition of the device is still available, although it offers not only half the storage, but the RAM capacity as well. The 8GB edition of the Motorola Moto G (2015) only has 1GB of RAM. For people coming from the 2014 edition of the device, getting only the 1GB model would be counterproductive.
Launched last week, the Motorola Moto G (2015 edition) comes with a 5-inch IPS display with HD (1280 x 720) resolution, 2GB of RAM for the higher end model, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chipset that supports 64-bit applications, and 16GB of built-in memory.
Other specs include a 13MP primary camera, a 5MP front shooter, dual-LED flash, a microSD card slot, a 2,470mAh battery, Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box, and even an IP X7 certification which means water resistance.
