'Mr. Mercedes' Season 1 Spoilers: Does Brady Kill the Last Person He'd Want Dead?
Things have been going well for Brady (Harry Treadaway) in "Mr. Mercedes," but his luck is about to run out in next week's episode "From the Ashes."

The promo for "Mr. Mercedes" season 1, episode 8 teases that his mother Deborah (Kelly Lynch) may bite the dust after unknowingly cooking and eating the patties that her son poisoned.

Fans will remember that Brady intended to kill Jerome's (Jharrel Jerome) dog, but failed to do so and just carelessly through the patties in the refrigerator. Now, this critical blunder is biting him back in the behind with the last person he would want dead possibly becoming just another number is his murder spree.
This is the worst possible time this error takes place because Hodges (Brendan Gleeson) will be further onto him in "Mr. Mercedes" season 1, episode 8.
With the death of Janey still fresh in his mind, the detective is forcing Ida (Holland Taylor) to move away to keep her safe. Hodges was supposed to be the one inside the car when it exploded, not Janey, but Brady did not mind the change of plans and went ahead to kill her instead.
Now, Hodges believes that he is done for this time, but the promo for "Mr. Mercedes" season 1, episode 8 shows that he will not go down without a fight and take the sociopath down before he could hurt anyone else.
As Hodges zeroes in on Brady, Jerome and Holly's (Justine Lupe) efforts to hack into Olivia's (Ann Cusack) laptop and access a mysterious text file named "Sessions" seem to have paid off.
The two will make a pivotal discovery in the upcoming episode that will definitely be of great help to Hodges. This might be the only win they need to beat the serial killer.
