'Mr. Robot' Season 2 news update: Amazon Prime Receives Streaming Rights

After the success of its first season, the series "Mr. Robot" will now be on Amazon Prime.

It was announced that USA's series "Mr. Robot" has sealed a deal with Amazon for the exclusive rights to stream on Amazong Prime. With that, the first season, containing 10 episodes, will be available to Amazon Prime members starting next spring. It will be streaming in the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Austria, and Japan.

The vice president of Digital Video Content Acquisition Brad Beale, spoke about the new addition to Amazon Prime. He said, "Mr. Robot is one the most compelling new dramas on television. Rami Malek delivers a mesmerizing performance and leads a great cast with an intriguing story full of dark twists."

The series stars Christian Slater, Portia Doubleday, Carly Chaikin, and Martin Wallström. It was made by Sam Esmails, who is joined by Steve Golin and Chad Hamilton as executive producers. The previous season of the series left off with a dramatic twist that will set the pace for the upcoming season. It revealed that Mr. Robot was actually just in Elliot's imagination. This then begs the question of who was the one behind his door in the finale?

Fans are also curious to know what Elliot meant by "Rome Burn." The season to come will feature Elliot tackling the events that happened days after the hack. It is expected to go back to the roots of the show, which will be fsociety. Rami Malek, who plays Elliot, recently spoke about his sentiments for the coming episodes. He said, "I hate to think about those issues because I feel like everything that we do touch upon ends up being something that can cause massive damage to our societies, so I'd rather not anticipate the things that are going to happen."
