'Mr. Robot' Season 3 Spoilers: Krista Finally Meets Edward
Krista (Gloria Reuben) is set to meet the enigmatic Edward (Christian Slater) in the upcoming season of "Mr. Robot."
The new sneak peek released (via Entertainment Weekly) shows Elliot (Rami Malek) talking to his court-appointed therapist. If in the past, Krista never got to meet the hacker's alter ego, this time around, Edward is more than willing to have a conversation with her. It certainly looks like there is going to be a showdown between the two as she tries to match his fire step by step.
Series creator Sam Esmail revealed that the new storyline would see Elliot trying to find a way to permanently erase his father's presence in his life.

"The whole goal in the first half of the second season was to destroy and erase Mr. Robot," Esmail said. "Again, in a weird way, I think it paralleled what he was trying to do with the Five-Nine hack. He was trying to ignore it and erase it and pretend that he wasn't responsible for it. Now that's all come to pass, so this third season has Elliot facing that challenging. If you can't annihilate the thing that's broken inside of you, how can you heal that wound? What can you do about that?"
As spoilers indicate, Elliot is tired of being Mr. Robot's puppet. For him, it is time for the tyrannical fool to stop with his plans to take over the world. The hacker will reportedly launch an all-out attack against his alter ego to stop his plot against E Corp. It was Edward who ordered Tyrell (Martin Wallström) to shoot Elliot in the chest if he did not agree to cooperate with the second phase of the attack against the conglomerate. Edward was willing to hurt Elliot just to prevent problems from arising that might derail the operation. Although it has been teased that the latter will survive the encounter, he will still be severely hurt.
"Mr. Robot" season 3 will air Oct. 11 at 10 p.m. EDT on USA Network.
