MTV VMAs 2014 Live Stream: See the Winners and Performances By Nicki Minaj, Beyonce, Ariana Grande
The MTV Video Music Awards, or MTV VMAs 2014, will take place on Sunday night, and fans can expect more spectacular and perhaps controversial performances at this year's event. The event has a start time of 9 p.m. ET and can be watched on TV on the MTV channel.
Last year it was Miley Cyrus who everyone was talking about after the show. Her controversial performance twerking with Robin Thicke during "Blurred Lines" shocked many, and for months afterwards the media was highlighting all the crazy outfits and performances Cyrus continued to put on.
This year it may not be Cyrus at the forefront of the performances, but no doubt other artists will step forward to try and shock, amaze and spark controversy.

MTV has announced that Nicki Minaj, Jessie J and Ariana Grande will perform together to open the show with their collaboration song "Bang Bang."
Minaj will also perform solo later with her new single "Anaconda."
Grande also will make a solo performance with her song "Break Free" (featuring Zedd).
Grande has said ahead of the show: "I'm super anxious before these kinds of things because it's so nerve wracking. I'm still not the best on the red carpet. That is still something that I'm working on, but I'm not as anxious anymore."
Beyonce will also perform tonight, with the star set to receive the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award.
Iggy Azalea and Rita Ora will perform "Black Widow," and Taylor Swift will sing her new song "Shake It Off."
Those presenting awards will include the likes of Demi Lovato, Gwen Stefani, Kim Kardashian, Nina Dobrev, Lorde, and Orange is the New Black actress Taylor Schilling.
The MTV VMAs 2014 will start at 9 p.m. ET from Forum, Inglewood, California and can be watched online through live stream by clicking here.
