'Narcos' Season 2 Spoilers: A New Pablo Next Season?
Star of the series "Narcos" shared some spoilers about the show's upcoming second season.
It was reported that Wagner Moura, who plays the role of Escobar, went to Reddit to reveal some interesting teasers for the upcoming season.
The Netlflix series "Narcos" tells the story of a Colombian drug lord named Pablo Escobar. The first season of the newest hit series discussed the history of his influence and power on the drug industry.
The story is told from the point of view of a real-life agaent named Steve Murphy. The executive producer of the series, Jose Padilha, spoke about how he had interviewed several American DEA Agents in order to tell the story of Escobar. He explained that it helped him develop Escobar's character into a human being.
He said during an interview with The Guardian,"Listen, the bad guys, the good guys, they have something in common: they are human beings. Human beings who, depending on the context, may drop their ethical stance to get the job done … This is what happens in real life."
With that, fans have been wondering just how the sophomore season of the series will follow.
During his interaction in Reddit, Moura explained the he and the crew are already working on the series' second season. He also highlighted some of his favorite scenes during the shoot.
He said, "I really enjoyed doing the last scenes in La Catedral during the final episodes...In those episodes it was a different Pablo, he had changed... and that aims to what we are doing in the second season."
While he did not share much about what the exact changes will be for his character, Moura also expressed his excitement toward working with the rest of the cast. He explained that he really enjoyed working with Juan Pablo Raba, who played the character named Gustavo Gaviria.
There has yet to be news on when "Narcos" season 2 will be released on Netflix.
