'Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4' Release Date on Xbox One, PS4, PC News: Story Mode Revealed, Boruto and Sarada Join Game

The official release of "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" is still months away from now but fresh updates are being released for all the waiting fans. New screenshots of the Japanese fighting game have been released by its publisher Bandai Namco. The screenshots showed the game's extensive story mode timeline feature as well as some incredible gameplay screenshots of the game's protagonists, Sasuke and Naruto.

It can be seen in the screenshots that the story mode selection and battle scenes are some of the things that players can expect upon release. The fight against Hashirama was also showcased in the screenshots which were all first revealed in the latest issue of "Shonen Jump" magazine, according to Geek Snack.

Another set of screenshots also surfaced revealing two add-on characters, Boruto Uzumaki and Sarada Uchiha, who are both characters from the new "Boruto" movie made by the "Naruto" series creator Masashi Kishimoto in an attempt to rejuvenate its narrative and keep new audiences interested. However, both characters are said to be available as pre-order DLC. Aside from the two, other characters included in the screenshots released are Naruto and Sasuke, Rin, Obito Uchiha and other more.

"Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" is confirmed to be the final entry in the "Naruto" fighting game series. The series is one of the most popular franchises of Bandai Namco Games, which is why they say that the last entry is considered the ultimate realization of the series. The creators are going out with a bang with all the familiar faces and redefined fighting mechanics.

"Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" will be made available in all regions on February 2016 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC according to the confirmation in the Gamescom 2015 trailer. More details of the game are still coming so fans will just have to stay tuned.
