'Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker' News: Beta Test Expected to Go Live in the Near Future
Still unclear what features of the game will be made accessible during the beta
"Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker" is going to offer a bit of a different take on games based on the hugely popular anime series, and it looks like fans will be able to get a closer look at it sometime soon.
Developers recently shared a new trailer for the upcoming game during the Tokyo Game Show.
Near the end of the video, developers revealed that there will be a beta test held for the game. Specific details about the beta test are unavailable at this point, though fans may want to stay tuned.
The beta is already set to go live soon, so additional details about may be released in the coming months or even weeks.
"Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker" will feature 4-vs-4 battles and environments that can be explored in different ways.
The battlegrounds even appear to be bigger this time around, which should be conducive to more eventful fights taking place.
What can truly set "Shinobi Striker" apart from other "Naruto" games though is its character creation system.
As is also previewed in the video above, the upcoming game will allow players to create their own in-game avatars.
Several elements of an avatar's appearance can be customized, thus enabling players to find the combination of physical features that work best for them. Created characters can also fall under four different ninja types – Attack, Defense, Ranged and Heal – so players will have to figure out which particular style is best suited for their created character.
Created avatars may also be able to learn powerful techniques, even ones previously used by the series' most famous characters.
The character creation system also has not been fully fleshed out just yet, though more details about it should be shared soon enough.
"Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker" is expected to be released sometime early next year.
