'Nashville' Season 4 Spoilers, Plot News: Stop the World (And Let Me Off)

The upcoming episode of "Nashville" season 4 is expected to put more focus on Scarlett and her family.

It was reported that Scarlett, played by Clare Bowen, and Deacon, played by Charles Esten, will be going on a road trip all the way to Natchez, Mississippi. Teasers for the episode revealed that they will both be mourning the recent death of Beverly, played by Dana Wheleler-Nicholson.

A sneak peek of the episode showed Scarlett drunk and sharing her feelings about the death. However, she was not the only one feeling guilty for Beverly's death. With that, Deacon said, "Hey. I left her first. She was dependent on me and I got on that bus, and I left her here. So I know how you feel."

With that, Scarlett replied, "You weren't there holding her hand when she slipped away. You didn't come to help me! You made me feel like the most important decision of my life was a mistake and you judged me for it."

It was also revealed that episode 5 of "Nashville" season 4 is entitled "Stop the World (And Let Me Off)." It will also touch upon Rayna and her artists. The upcoming episode will show her finding out that Jeff had a relationship with Layla. Apparently, she will see them kissing at the Grand Ole Opry Show. It was reported that she will not be in favor of their relationship. With that, she will try her best to break them up.

She will also have to deal with Markus. It was said that Markus will be showcasing some diva behavior when he decided to go against Avery. That will certainly be another problem to keep Layla busy. Meanwhile, her daughter will be taking a trip with her boyfriend.

"Nashville" season 4 airs every Wednesday.
