'Nashville' Season 5 to Introduce New Characters

Even though the current season of "Nashville" has yet to conclude, there is already news about the upcoming fifth season of "Nashville."

While fans are still waiting for confirmation for the renewal of the series "Nashville," reports revealed that there is already talk for what is to come if the series is renewed. According to CMT, fans could see some new faces when "Nashville" presents its fifth season.

The current happenings in "Nashville" Season 4 hinted at the possibility of new characters joining the series. It seems as though people from the past will be coming back and their return will surely bring more drama to the series.

Also, the new additions to the series could be due to the change in executive producers. It was reported that Marshall Herskovitz and Edward Zwick, best known for their work on "My So-Called Life," will be the ones in charge of the series. With that, fans can expect a lot of changes to come if the series is renewed.

However, there has yet to be any news on the renewal of the upcoming season of "Nashville."

Meanwhile, the upcoming episode of "Nashville" will see the return of Juliette Barnes, the character played by Hayden Panettiere. Fans have not seen the actress on the show for awhile due to her decision to spend time in rehab for postpartum depression. The writers of the series also had her character go to rehab for the same reason.

With that, the character will be faced with more challenges now that she is back. The synopsis stated, "A familiar face — Juliette Barnes — finally returns to Nashville after receiving treatment for postpartum depression and finds herself at a critical crossroads upon her homecoming."

"Nashville" Season 4 Episode 14, titled "What I Cannot Change" is expected to air on ABC this April 6.
