National Dog Show 2013 Live Stream Free: Watch Online to See Winner of 'Best in Show' (NBC TV Schedule)
The National Dog Show 2013 takes place on Thursday afternoon in one of the highlights of this year's Thanksgiving Day television schedule. The show is presented by Purina and is a mainstay for many families to watch together as they relax on Thanksgiving Day. The show will be broadcast on NBC from 12 p.m. ET and can be watched online through free live stream (details below).
This year's show will be the 12th installment of the annual event, and takes place immediately following the conclusion of Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City.
Actor John O'Hurley, best known for playing J. Peterman on "Seinfeld," will host the event, which will feature about 2,000 dogs.

O'Hurley has said via Zap2It: "Dogs bring so much love and joy to homes around the country. I'm happy to once again celebrate Thanksgiving with both my family and my National Dog Show family."
The event's governing body, the American Kennel Club, has approved three new dog breeds for the competition this year, which promises to be the biggest and best in the event's history.
The Chinook, the Portuguese Podengo Pequeno, and the Rat Terrier will each make their first appearance on today's show.
The competition will see dogs divided into seven distinct classifications; Terrier, Toy, Working, Sporting, Hound, Non-Sporting, and Herding.
As the dogs are put on show, judges examine each canine's conformation, or overall appearance and temperament, and decide which canines will be named "Best in Breed."
After that portion of the show is done, the winning dogs move on to the judging for "Best In Group," and later on finally "Best in Show."
Best in Show will win $20,000 in prize money.
Last year's National Dog Show brought in more than 19 million viewers and saw Wire Fox Terrier earn the title of "Best in Show" for the second straight year.
