The picture is of Lebron James, who appropriately enough is on the cover of the game, appears with the PS4 logo in the bottom right of the screen.

James has never looked so real on a console before as the graphics are clearly next-gen. The clarity and likeness to the real life superstar are unmistakeable.

The new game is looking to elevate the play of the game to make it the most authentic of the franchise yet, according to Gamespot.

They revamped the right analog stick to allow for the fancy and ankle breaking crossovers an NBA fan sees on TV. Overall it gives the player more of an arsenal on offense to get creative with shots.

The announcing has been greatly improved too. The commentary follows the game closely and gives in game updates pertaining to the action on the court rather than just filler talk.

There is a new mode called Path to Greatness that was specifically made for James as he looks to become the greatest of all time by unlocking achievements and surpassing goals. Like James in real life, the gamer is offered two paths; stay with the Miami Heat and create a dynasty, or try your luck somewhere else.

Interestingly enough, 2K Sports may be the only video game developer putting out a basketball game this year.

NBA 2K 2014 was released on Oct. 1.
