'NBA 2K16' News: Recent Update Reflects Roster Update According To NBA Team Changes

The basketball simulation game "NBA 2K16" is keeping up with its promise that the game will reflect real-life updates and changes as it happens in the National Basketball Association. A recent update in the game as of February 19 brings a change to the roster of players as swapping of players has been happening in real life as well.

According to a report in Attack of the Fanboy, the recent update reflected the many trades that have so far occurred in the NBA. Among the recent trades included are that of Tobias Harris, Donatas Motiejunas and Marcus Thornton to the Detroit Pistons, Brandon Jennings and Ersan Ilyasova to Orlando Magic, Lance Stephenson, P.J. Hairston and Chris Andersen to the Memphis Grizzlies, Channing Frye to Cleveland Cavaliers, and Courtney Lee to the Charlotte Hornets. The list goes on, as indicated in the report, with 2K Sports bringing in some changes to the game as it happens.

An earlier report in Breathecast cited that the video game is targeted to parallel the real-life game, from the changes in the players' ratings down to the injuries players sustain while playing the game. Another report in Christian Today also pointed out how Black Griffin's ratings went down from 99 to 77 after he sustained an off-court injury. In terms of the game's highest ranked players, it is Stephen Curry who's leading at 96 while Lebron James is in second place with a rating of 94. As players' ratings change in real-life, the game "NBA 2K16" wants to reflect such changes as well.
