'NBA 2K16' third cover star features Anthony Davis

The latest gameplay trailer for NBA 2K16 has been released and fans of Anthony Davis are more than pleased to see him being the last but not the least to be featured. The NBA 2K16 mini-series themed around the professional basketball games three cover stars Stephen Curry, James Harden and the last one, Anthony Davis.

The video is called "Rise" and it follows Davis as he goes through childhood to where he stands now as an NBA star with the Pelicans. The video is narrated by NBA 2K16 collaborator and filmmaker Spike Lee who spoke about going through struggles and starting small to ending up in success and making it to the top after working hard for it. According to Sun Times Network, Anthony Davis is "the most talented and versatile big man in the league and is earning a nod for the best player in the NBA."

The players will be able to see this through the game's MyCareer mode which the developers intentionally placed to use it as an inspiration in forging the players' own path to glory.

There isn't a lot of gameplay in the video for the players to check out but just by the looks of the trailer that NBA 2K16 has released, it aims to continue the series' tradition of being the best basketball video game available in the market, reports Gaming Bolt.

NBA 2K16 will be launching on September 29 for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4, and PC.
