'NBA 2K17' Legend Edition Release Date and Preorders: Team USA's First Official Screenshot Revealed; Roster, Card Design, Pre-Made Expansion Teams
"NBA 2K17" is the latest in the 2K series of NBA Basketball video game. It will be released in September 20, 2016 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC, but you can also preorder the game and you will get it on September 16, the Friday before the release date.
The game has various editions including the gold Legend Edition ($99.99), the regular Legend Edition ($79.99) and the "NBA 2K17" Standard Edition ($59.99).
The "NBA 2K17" Standard Edition features Paul George in the cover, while the Legend Edition features Kobe Bryant.

'NBA 2K17' Standard Edition
The standard edition comes with 5,000 VCs (Virtual Currencies), which you can use to purchase virtual items from the in-game store. You will also get a MyTEAM Bundle (3 packs and a Paul George free agent card).
'NBA 2K17' Kobe Bryant Legend Edition
The Legend edition comes with physical items along with the video game software. These items include a limited-edition Kobe Bryant poster, 2 Panini Kobe Bryant trading cards, and a Black Mamba controller skin.
The software freebies include 30,000 VCs, MyTEAM Bundle Plus, 2K Kobe XI shoe, Kobe #8 Mitchell and Ness Jersey, and Kobe Hoodie.
'NBA 2K17' Kobe Bryant Legend Edition Gold Edition
The gold Legend edition comes with the physical items that go along with the legend edition. The software freebies include 100,000 VCs, 2 more MyTEAM packs, including the Michael Jordan Free Agent Card and the Kobe Bryant Free Agent Card that is in the Legend edition.
You also get the entire Nike Kobe shoe collection and special Kobe cover insert.
Pre-Made Expansion Teams and Expansion League
"NBA 2K17" developers announced two weeks ago that the game will include a feature which is entirely new to the 2K series called League Expansion.
This feature allows you to add more teams to the 30-team NBA League and expand it to up to 36 teams. You can make your own designs for the new teams, realign divisions, include classic and expansion teams, Euroleague teams, etc.
There will also be 10 premade teams if you don't want to create new teams. The most recently announced expansion teams include the Nashville Stars, Virginia Storm, Louisville Liberty, San Diego Surf and Kansas City Knights.

The game also recently released official screenshots through Twitter, showing the Dream Team and the 2016 USA Basketball Men's National Team.
Card Design
"NBA 2K17" also tweeted the new card designs for the game's My Team. The picture shows the Paul George, Kobe Bryant and Michael Jordan Cards. The cards also give a clue to the ratings of the three players; Paul George is a 90, while Bryant and Jordan are both rated 99.
