'NBA 2K18' News: Fans 'Not Missing Out on Anything' When They Play the Switch Version

All major modes and new features expected to be included in the Switch edition of 'NBA 2K18'

In just a matter of days, Nintendo Switch owners are going to be given opportunities to enjoy "NBA 2K18" on the console of their choice and they can look forward to getting the full experience.

Speaking recently to Gamereactor, senior producer Rob Jones talked a bit about what Switch owners can expect from the upcoming basketball offering.

According to Jones, the experience that players can get from the Switch edition will closely resemble the ones that will be made available to fans who prefer other platforms.

Jones also noted that Switch owners are "not missing out on anything."

Forbes' contributor Brian Mazique was also able to learn more about the Switch version recently. According to his report, the Switch variant is going to come with the major modes also being presented in other editions.

That means that players on the Switch can also look forward to seeing and enjoying all that the revamped MyCareer mode has to offer. The MyGM and MyLeague modes are also going to be available in the Switch version of "NBA 2K18," which should allow players to live out their team-managing dreams. The redone MyTeam offerings are also expected to be present in the Switch version.

Now, with that said, the Switch edition is not going to be exactly like the ones coming to other platforms when it comes to visuals.

Going back to Jones, the senior producer shared, "It's not the same exact graphics because the Switch can't push them."

The good news for Switch owners, however, is that they can still enjoy those aforementioned features while on the go, which is something that is not possible using the other consoles.

Basketball fans on the Nintendo Switch will be able to start playing "NBA 2K18" as soon as the game is released for the platform on Sept. 19.
