'NBA Live 16' news: Face-scanning app delayed, but demo will push through
Every sports fan is awaiting the release of "NBA Live 16." However, recent news had fans worrying that a delay might occur concerning the game's scheduled demo date. According to Polygon, the face-scanning app for the game encountered some problems with meeting the supposed deadline.
The reports say that the app that is supposed to be released in iOS and Android stores on Sept. 9 for the game experienced a delay problem in the mobile app submission process. However, EA sports says that the original launch date for NBA Live 16 demo will not be affected by this and will still push through on Sept. 15. The assurance came from a tweet of the official Twitter account of EA Sports NBA Live, which says, "@NBAK1D This has zero impact on the Demo release date. We ran into a slight delay in the mobile app submission process."
Hopefully there will be enough time for the app to catch up to its release before the demo. If this app is a big improvement to the last game's frustrating head-scanning feature, then it will certainly have a notable impact on the game. Executive producer of NBA Live Sean O'Brien did promise that this new app will deliver faster results and make quicker import into the games more possible.
NBA Live 16 will have two different multiplayer modes. First would be the Live Run that will allow the use of created players and feature games played up to 21 points, instead of the NBA rules. This is a mode similar to one found in "NBA Live 10." The second mode would be the Summer Circuit mode that will be similar to an adventure-mode style, as it will give players challenges to complete while they play and also let created players to compete with NBA players as they travel to different real-world locations.
