NBA News 2015: Rajon Rondo Had 'Powerful Meeting' With George Karl, DeMarcus Cousins; Warriors Keep Undefeated Record Intact
Sacramento Kings point guard Rajon Rondo had a "powerful" meeting with head coach George Karl and teammate DeMarcus Cousins.
The Golden State Warriors, on the other hand, have managed to keep their undefeated record intact.
According to a report by Yahoo! Sports, Rondo went to meet with the two to sort things out. In early November, Cousins had a brief war of words with his mentor, which he also apologized to, afterwards.

The report adds that what was originally scheduled as a 15-minute discussion immediately turned into a two-hour meeting, in which Rondo had described as "powerful."
"We asked him to just sit with us so we can pick his brain and share our thoughts," Rondo said. "What I love about [Karl] is he's very open. George is not a dictator."
Rondo adds that he and Cousins also convinced Karl to give more constructive criticism during their film sessions. The former Boston Celtics point guard even volunteered to be the first one on the list.
"If you have to bully me or call me out, I can accept that," Rondo said. "I'm a 10-year vet. I learned from Doc [Rivers] and the past guys that it has to start with the vets who have the most leeway on the team or the most responsibility."
Meanwhile, defending champions Golden State Warriors have managed to keep an unblemished record as they pick up win number 23 against the Indiana Pacers on Tuesday.
Despite the fact that the game was held at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis and it was the Pacers' home turf, Golden State emerged victorious with a score of 131-123.
The Warriors outscored the Pacers in the first three quarters of the game. The Pacers tried to catch up in the fourth quarter by scoring 40 points compared to the 20 points the Warriors put up but it was a little too late and the Warriors won by eight points.
Another report from Yahoo! Sports shows that the high scorer for the game on the part of the Golden State Warriors was Klay Thompson, who put in 39 points, seven rebounds and six assists. 2015 Most Valuable Player honoree Stephen Curry piled in 29 points. For the Pacers, the high scorer was Paul George, who put in 33 points, eight rebounds and six assists, followed by C.J. Miles with 24 points.
The Warriors will next take on the Boston Celtics on Dec. 11, Friday, at the TD Garden, 7:30 p.m. ET.
